Located at the northwest corner of Loop 101 and Hayden Road in Scottsdale, Arizona, The Cavasson East Multi-Tenant Office Building and Parking Structure is Nationwide Realty Investors' 134 Acre Cavasson Development anchor project to its Cavasson Development.

The design integrity of the building crosses all scales. The overall “H” geometry creates an efficient footprint for office space. At the same time, a 6-degree splay opens the Headquarters to the east and closes the building to the west. As a result, the two courtyards offer two very different outdoor settings. While the larger East courtyard boasts views of the mountains, and the organic design lets the occupants find a respite during the workday. The smaller west courtyard has a unique architectural pavilion and a misting system.

Sunshades at the floor lines allow for full-height glass around the entire perimeter of the building and provide all tenants with expansive views.

A wood canopy covers walkways from the garage, and Drop Off creates a grand entrance for the building while bringing the scale down to the pedestrian. Finally, the whole building is anchored to the Sonoran Desert with a stacked stone base.

Tenants are welcomed to the building by an expansive common area that includes a cafe, lounge seating, collaboration areas, and a flexible conference room that opens to the East courtyard with a 26-foot operable glass wall.

Anchoring both the North and South wings of the building, open stairs visually connect all floors with a monumental geometric wood wall. The openness of the stairs connects the floors while also encouraging the physical movement of the tenants.

Both wings of the building are tied together with a glass connector that houses conference rooms, collaboration areas, and break rooms on every floor, but partitioned in glass to allow views across the entire width overlooking both the east and west courtyards.

A high level of finishes and attention to detail throughout the interior and exterior of the building make it a project that stands out among the rest in the region.

On the top floor, open corner windows offer uninterrupted views of the surrounding mountains. No matter the floor or location, natural light is abundant throughout this project

The base of both structures almost melt away into the landscape. A pop of warm wood peeks out from under the breezeway providing contrast and visual interest.

Rather than falling flat, The Studio created a moment to showcase its creative edge through the garage elevator. A graphical floor numbering, starch white backdrop, and the warmth of wood paneling creates a warm and artistic moment.

Whether walking through the court yard, or viewing from one's desk, the native landscaping provides respite for employees.

The color palette in the finishings gives a gentle nod to its outdoor environment. Warm, neutral tones gives this interior

Mimicking its surroundings through materiality, the uniquely shaped pergola seamlessly ties into the biophilic intent of this project.
