Last of three parking structures supporting Grandview Yard, this five level (one below grade and three elevated decks) building handles 1,469 cars for 955 and 995 Yard Street, and future condo and apartment dwellers.
Being the third and last major parking structure in the Grandview Yard Development for Nationwide Corporate offices, this garage has the capacity to cover adjacent offices and other residential and commercial uses. Located on the neighborhood’s western edge, it houses most of the infrastructures such as generators, switchgears, and trash, for the entire block. The Garage not only houses cars for associates, but a covered place to store and maintain their bicycles as well. This required the design team to have knowledge and experience for the parking structures as well as that for all of the adjoining buildings.
All Parking Garages in Grandview Yard were designed by The Columbus Architectural Studio members either at The Studio or at prior firms. The key to any successful mix use development depends on understanding parking demands and their implications to its built environment. We have specialized in preparing design bid documents that meet the owner’s function requirements, campus aesthetics, as well as allow for a competitive bid environment.
