Vitria on the Square North Columbus, OH

Vitria on the Square is one of the latest and most refined event spaces at OSU. There was no detail over looked on this project. It features custom carpet patterns, one of a kind ceiling details, and is complete with its clean and simple lines creating an understated sense of elegance and sophistication.

The Columbus Architectural Studio was elected to design an event space that would hold high caliber parties, receptions, to conferences. By incorporating clean and simple lines with rich materials, Vitria on the Square has an understated sense of elegance. Designed to hold various kinds of large events, The Grand Ball Room features vaulted decorative ceilings as well as full length windows. The Junior Ball Room was designed to act as a lobby and event space in itself. The conference rooms features softer materials and design for a productive atmosphere. All of the spaces have terrace access so occupants can enjoy the view and fresh air.

Warm herringbone flooring, board and batten detailing, and vaulted ceilings create a serene moment within the Junior Ballroom. The black metal and stone façade perfectly frame The Ohio State University’s Presidential Suite—another of The Studio’s projects, nestled just across the plaza.

Thoughtfully tailored to the end user, custom patterned carpet in soft hues creates a one of a kind experience.

Crafted with flexibility and elegance in mind, the Grand Ballroom provides an event space for all. The expansive layout allows for a variety of events while the aesthetic ensures it's polished and sophisticated.

Artistic ceiling panels line the event space, adding an elevated layer of drama. During the design process, the decision was made to paint the alcove black, allowing the feature to stand independently as a striking focal point.

Pulling in repeated material and detailing into the conference room ties together the environments despite the various utilizations.

Private balcony access allows this space to have a dual purpose.
