1242 Broadview Avenue consisted of the restoration of a two-story gambrel style house, along with a 1,000 sf two-story addition.
3,114 (including addition)
The addition took the home from a 2-bedroom, 1-bath residence to a 5-bedroom, 4-1/2 bath residence. The first floor consists of a dual-purpose guest suite/office & dining room within the existing footprint, and a new kitchen, family room, laundry/pantry, and mudroom within the addition. The second floor consists of the existing 2 bedrooms & the original bath along with two new bedroom suites in the addition. The restoration transformed the exterior of the house giving back its original historic character and charm. The transformation was achieved by returning to an open front porch, reconfiguring windows, and adding trim and millwork components.
